| The Model D4000 Provides the Two Most Popular Types of Verification; ANSI Method or Point-and-Shoot Traditional Method
This unique portable bar code verifier can interface with either the patented RJS Auto-Optic scan head or a laser scanner to provide nine different optic configurations. The scanners are easily installed by the user, making the unit quickly adaptable to practically any verification requirement. ANSI Mode Operation A D4000 incorporating an Auto-Optic scanner is the industry’s most flexible ANSI method verifier. Eight optical arrangements are possible via menu selections for four aperture sizes and two wavelengths of light. The optical geometry meets all requirements of the ANSI X3.182 Bar Code Quality Guideline. The Auto-Optic scanner is designed and manufactured by RJS for the sole purpose of performing ANSI method bar code quality analysis. Repeatability between scanners is outstanding, making the D4000 an ideal choice as a standardized company-wide ANSI method verifier. Laser Mode Operation A D4000 incorporating a laser scanner is an extremely easy to use point-and-shoot verifier. It requires virtually no user training and analyzes most of the essential traditional verification parameters. It also provides the ANSI method Decodability calculation and percent of decode information. Popular applications include verification on materials requiring special considerations such as highly specular substrates, curved or uneven surfaces and wet ink.

| RJS MODEL SV100 SCANNER/VERIFIER
The Model SV100 scanner/verifier by RJS provides both fixed position scanning and high-speed on-line ANSI method verification. This unique instrument can be used for many types of bar code scanning and/or verifying applications. SV100 IS AN ON-LINE VERIFIER INCLUDING THE FULL ANSI METHOD ANSI and Traditional print quality parameters can be transmitted along with decoded data. Users can select which parameters to report using RJS ScanVision software or Model SV download language. The user-selected parameters report on symbol quality to ensure the print method or complete bar code process is optimized. This is important for ISO 9000 corrective action procedures, label manufacturing and printing, tracking systems, ink jet applications and more. SV100 IS A FIXED POSITION SCANNER WITH DIAGNOSTIC CAPABILITY The SV100 can operate as a fixed position scanner. But, since it also provides diagnostic bar code quality information, it reduces system downtime due to poor scanning. It does this by isolating the source of the problem. Once the source of the problem is found, it can be corrected. The diagnostic capability is also useful when installing the scanner or after a conveyor or printer maintenance cycle. The available print quality information gives an indication of first time read rates, optimal scanner alignment, optimal conveyor speed, optimal printer settings and adjustments. In short, what is needed to ensure proper set-up of a system.
